About the role:

We are seeking an experienced Trade Compliance Manager to join our team. As a subject matter expert, you will play a pivotal role in enabling the strategic global growth of our business by ensuring compliance with international trade regulations and driving continuous improvement in our customs and trade compliance practices.

The impact you’ll make:

Ensure the company’s global trade activities comply with all applicable international regulations.
Manage compliance risk assessments and develop effective mitigation strategies.
Develop, maintain, and enhance internal policies to ensure consistent compliance with global procedures and regulations across the organization.
Lead trade compliance and customs-related projects in various markets to strengthen local compliance and contribute to global harmonization of customs processes (e.g., HS classification, country of origin).
Monitor legislative developments and proactively advise the business on potential risks and opportunities (e.g., CBAM, Deforestation regulations, US tariffs).
Provide customs and trade compliance guidance to internal stakeholders.
Oversee external service providers, such as customs brokers, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
Coordinate internal and external audits; enhance audit readiness by maintaining documentation and records in accordance with applicable laws and company policies
Drive continuous improvement initiatives in customs and trade compliance.
Execute internal reporting processes related to customs duties.

The skills and knowledge you’ll bring:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in International Trade, Supply Chain, Business, Legal Studies, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in global trade compliance and customs management.
In-depth knowledge of international trade regulations, HS classification, and country of origin management.
Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems (SAP GTS preferred).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
Proven ability to collaborate effectively across functions and regions.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
High attention to detail, with a proactive and continuous improvement mindset.
Proficient in English is a must, knowledge of Polish is added value
Based in Warsaw area and happy to come to the office 3 days a week
