Job Title:  Test Engineer

About the role:

Ensure our future products are being tested and verified in the most professional way. To ensure the best quality of our products according to the specification.

The impact you’ll make:

Develops testing processes & execution of testing and verification of product, module and components prototypes by:

• Defining, maintaining and documenting test requirements and test methods in collaboration with lead engineers, quality engineers, project leads based on consumer and business input and develop smart test designs regarding feasibility (costs, timing, quality, location)
• Testing and measuring coordination, execution, initial data analysis and reporting
• Providing test reports in compliance with internal procedures and regulations/ standards applicable.
• Contributing to functional continuous improvement plan and knowledge base, using state-of-the-art data based advanced testing procedures.
• Hiring temporary test operators
• Training test operators
• Planning of test operators
• Coaching of test operators
• Analyzing the generated data
• Releasing products according IEC standard.
• Supporting project teams within development with test methods and test equipment

The skills and knowledge you’ll bring:

• Min. 3 years experience in industrial engineering.
• Knowledge of V-model & req. mgmt. required.
• Experience in test and verification; solid knowledge of statistical data analysis.
• Minimum HBO (or local equivalent) in engineering science (Mechanical, Electrical, Software, Physics), Bachelor preferred
• Fluency in English and Mandarin is mandatory.
