As Senior Product Manager, Floor Care, you are accountable for driving profitable growth through a portfolio of innovative products that delight consumers and strengthen our market position. You will combine strategic thinking, consumer insight, and strong cross functional leadership to bring winning products to market and create meaningful value for both consumers and the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the product strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle for your portfolio from concept to end of life, identifying consumer and market opportunities, defining winning value propositions, and translating category objectives into compelling product concepts and clear product requirements.
  • Act as the voice of both the consumer and the business, making critical trade offs across performance, quality, cost, timing, and profitability to maximize portfolio success and deliver sustainable business growth.
  • Lead and influence global cross functional teams across Marketing, R&D, Design, Operations, Sales, and Finance, aligning stakeholders around a common vision to deliver outstanding consumer experiences and business results.
  • Act as the Product Owner, driving the end to end product development process and ensuring products meet consumer expectations, performance targets, quality standards, cost objectives, and launch timelines.
  • Develop differentiated, consumer centric value propositions that address unmet consumer needs, create competitive advantage, and drive category growth.
  • Act as the product and category expert for your portfolio, continuously benchmarking competitors, identifying whitespace opportunities, and defining winning product strategies across price tiers and consumer segments.
  • Build robust business cases by assessing market opportunities, sales potential, pricing, costs, profitability, and return on investment.
  • Drive the product validation strategy by leveraging consumer research, product testing, ratings & reviews, and market feedback to ensure products deliver a best in class user experience.
  • Monitor product performance after launch and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance consumer satisfaction, product ratings, commercial performance, and long term competitiveness.
  • Own product lifecycle management activities, including range enhancements, feature upgrades, line extensions, cost optimization initiatives, and end of life planning.
  • Partner closely with Engineering, Design, and Commercial teams to ensure product features, claims, packaging, and communication are rooted in consumer insights and consistently reflect the intended value proposition.
  • Support global markets in commercial launch planning, customer presentations and execution while actively monitoring the financial and market performance of new product introductions to ensure business objectives are achieved.
  • Analyze market, consumer, and competitive data (e.g., GfK, ratings & reviews) to identify trends, emerging opportunities, and changing consumer needs across markets and price segments.
  • Drive best practices in Product Management, strengthen cross functional collaboration, and continuously improve ways of working to accelerate innovation and business impact.

The skills and knowledge you’ll bring:

  • 7+ years of experience in Product Management, Product Development, Innovation, or a related field.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Engineering, Product Design, Marketing, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated success leading complex, cross-functional product development programs, balancing consumer needs, technical feasibility, quality, cost, and timing requirements.
  • Strong business and commercial acumen, with experience building business cases, assessing market opportunities, and making data-driven decisions to drive growth and profitability.
  • Proven ability to lead and influence diverse global teams without direct authority, aligning stakeholders around a shared vision and delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior leaders, technical experts, commercial teams, and external partners.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to leverage consumer insights, market data, competitive intelligence, and product performance metrics to inform decisions.
  • Deep consumer curiosity and a passion for creating great products. You are naturally driven to understand consumer needs, product performance, emerging technologies, and what differentiates a winning product experience.
  • Hands-on, entrepreneurial mindset with a strong sense of ownership, accountability, and urgency, coupled with the resilience to navigate ambiguity and drive projects to completion.
  • Experience in consumer durables, small domestic appliances, Floor Care, or related consumer product categories is preferred.
