About the role:

In this role as Sr. Marketing Manager, you have the opportunity to lead the identification of locally relevant consumer insights and align the Versuni portfolio strategy and execution for the French market.
You will be responsible for developing and implementing end-to-end local activation plans across all sales, marketing, and media channels. You will manage the allocation of A&P investments, brief key stakeholders on campaign activation and local content adaptations and continuously measure performance and ROI to drive optimization and share best practices across the organization.

The impact you’ll make:

Leading and overseeing all marketing activities for the French market across distribution channels, marketing activations, and media platforms, including:
•    Leading the localization of the Source of Business (SOB) and target audience strategies for the French market.
•    Supporting the identification and translation of locally relevant consumer insights into actionable marketing strategies.
•    Defining and managing the local product portfolio and owning the 18-month rolling forecast in collaboration with category teams.
•    Managing the local A&P budget and ensuring strong return on investment (ROI).
•    Owning the local end-to-end marketing strategy and ensuring consistency across 360° marketing plans, including social media, events, PR, influencer marketing, local content development, and co-created partner activations.
•    Leading New Product Introduction (NPI) presentations and delivering internal and external product and category training sessions.
•    Developing and executing the local marketing activation plan, including a 12-month integrated media calendar supported by clear performance and media sufficiency KPIs.
•    Briefing Market Media Managers, PR and Influencer Managers on campaign planning and collaborating with Digital Hubs on local content adaptation.
•    Ensuring all local activations reflect the French market's tone of voice while maintaining alignment with global brand guidelines and relevance to local consumers.
•    Defining the messaging hierarchy, including key product benefits and purchase drivers, to support media and trade marketing plans.
•    Determining the optimal channel strategy and portfolio distribution across the market.
•    Working closely with Trade Marketing teams to maximize business impact, customer engagement, and revenue growth across all distribution channels.
•    Monitoring and evaluating campaign results, capturing key learnings related to audiences, creative assets, media performance, and platform effectiveness, and sharing best practices across the organization.

The skills and knowledge you’ll bring:

•    5-8 years of relevant experience in Marketing, preferably within a consumer goods, retail, FMCG or international business environment. 
•    Bachelor's degree (HBO or local equivalent) in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. 
•    Strong knowledge of digital marketing, media planning, e-commerce, business management, and consumer engagement strategies. 
•    Demonstrated ability to translate consumer insights into impactful marketing plans and business results. 
•    Strong analytical and project management skills, with experience managing budgets and measuring ROI. 
•    Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. 
•    Fluent in English and French.
