Job Title:  Senior Manager Security Execution

About the role:

As Security Execution Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and improving the security operations of Versuni. You will manage the Security Operations Center (SOC), drive detection and platform engineering quality, and enhance cyber resilience across the organization. Your role is pivotal in ensuring the security of our infrastructure by collaborating with IT and non-IT stakeholders to implement improvements and mitigate risks.

The impact you’ll make:

• Manage the Security Operations Center (SOC): Ensure the efficient operation of our SOC and response to security threats.
• Enhance Detection & Platform Engineering: Work closely with teams to improve the effectiveness of security detections and platform security.
• Conduct Technical & Architectural Reviews: Assess risks in IT architectures and provide security recommendations.
• Cybersecurity Advisory Role: Act as a trusted point of contact for security-related inquiries across the organization.
• Participate in the Architecture Board: Evaluate IT changes from a security perspective and ensure best practices.
• Improve Cyber Resilience: Engage with IT and business stakeholders to strengthen security infrastructure and processes.
• Initiate Cybersecurity Assessments: Lead assessments to evaluate security posture and identify vulnerabilities.
• Drive Improvements Post-Assessments: Implement and oversee security enhancements based on assessment findings.
• Incident Response & Risk Management: Lead responses to security incidents and proactively identify potential threats.
• Policy Development & Compliance: Contribute to security policies and ensure compliance with relevant frameworks.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Build strong relationships with internal and external security experts to stay ahead of emerging threats.

The skills and knowledge you’ll bring:

• Mid to senior-level experience with 5 to 10+ years in Security & Operations ManagementProven experience in security operations management or a similar role within a large international organization.
• Strong understanding of SOC operations, incident response, and threat detection.
• Experience with architectural risk assessments and security reviews.
• Hands-on team leadership and management experience.
• A background in technical security roles or operations, with a clear and abiding interest in security.
• Security certifications (e.g., CCSP, CISSP, CISA, CISM) preferred.
• Absolutely trustworthy with high standards of personal integrity, demonstrated by an unblemished career history and willingness to undergo vetting if necessary.
• Ability to engage and communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Knowledge of security frameworks, standards, and best practices (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
