About the role:
This is a highly strategic senior commercial role with responsibility for two of Versuni’s most important international retail partnerships: MediamarktSaturn and Joybuy.com. You will own the end-to-end commercial relationship across both accounts, driving sustainable growth through strong strategic partnerships, commercial excellence, and execution across offline and online channels.
With significant international scope and complexity, this role requires a senior commercial leader who can combine strategic thinking, strong customer leadership, and sharp commercial execution. You will shape long-term growth strategies, lead complex negotiations, and work closely with senior internal and external stakeholders across multiple markets.
This role plays a critical part in accelerating Versuni’s growth across both traditional retail and fast-evolving e-commerce ecosystems.
The impact you’ll make:
- Own and grow two of Versuni’s largest and most strategic international key accounts, driving sustainable revenue, profitability, and market share growth across offline and online channels.
- Define and execute the long-term commercial strategy for key accounts, translating market insights into multi-year growth plans, joint business plans, and strategic growth initiatives.
- Identify and unlock new growth opportunities through portfolio expansion, premiumization, category development, retail media, and innovative omnichannel concepts.
- Lead complex international commercial negotiations and align with local sales teams across markets to ensure strong execution and sustainable business performance.
- Drive end-to-end account performance by optimizing pricing, assortment, promotions, and channel execution to maximize shopper conversion, profitability, and customer value.
- Act as a trusted strategic partner to senior customer stakeholders and internal cross-functional teams, influencing decision-making and ensuring flawless execution across markets.
The skills and knowledge you’ll bring:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Sales, Marketing, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in senior sales, strategic account management, or commercial leadership roles within international, matrix-driven organizations
- Proven track record managing large, complex retail accounts and delivering sustainable growth in consumer goods, consumer electronics, or adjacent industries
- Strong experience in omnichannel business environments, with solid understanding of e-commerce, retail execution, trade marketing, and category management
- Strong commercial and strategic mindset, with demonstrated success in complex negotiations, pricing, value creation, and customer-specific growth strategies
- Highly analytical and conceptually strong, with the ability to translate market insights and data into actionable business decisions
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, with experience engaging senior internal and external stakeholders across international markets
- Entrepreneurial, results-driven, and decisive, with strong ownership, resilience, and the ability to lead through complexity and ambiguity
- Fluent in English and German
