Job Title: Senior Ecommerce Analytics Manager
NL
About the role:
The e-commerce landscape is evolving faster than ever, demanding more than reactive insights — it requires proactive leadership with data at its core. At Versuni, we understand that transforming complexity into clarity drives competitive advantage, operational excellence, and sustainable growth.
As a Senior E-commerce Analytics Manager, you will play a pivotal role in turning data into strategic guidance for our global e-commerce business, including D2C. This senior position combines deep analytical expertise, strong business acumen, and stakeholder leadership to influence high-impact decisions across markets, categories, and digital channels.
You will lead advanced analyses, optimize the end-to-end e-commerce performance funnel, and drive the continuous evolution of our analytics capabilities. Your insights will directly shape pricing strategies, media investments, digital shelf excellence, supply optimization, and conversion performance — helping Versuni outperform in a highly competitive digital landscape.
Join us in redefining the future of e-commerce, where your leadership in analytics empowers decisions that fuel growth and innovation.
The impact you’ll make:
- Strategic Ecommerce Analytics Leadership: Serve as a thought partner to ecommerce leadership and cross-functional teams, influencing global strategies through data-driven recommendations. Lead strategic performance assessments across key ecommerce growth drivers — including traffic generation, media efficiency, conversion optimization, pricing, supply chain effectiveness, and digital shelf execution.
- Full-Funnel Analysis & Optimization: Analyze the entire D2C ecommerce funnel to identify trends in acquisition, conversion, retention, and revenue. Collaborate with marketing and commercial teams to drive continuous improvements in funnel performance. Support A/B testing initiatives and experimentation frameworks to optimize conversion rates, media effectiveness, and customer lifetime value. Drive gross margin optimization by identifying growth levers related to assortment, PDP effectiveness, pricing, and promotional strategies.
- KPI Framework & Performance Governance: Own the design, evolution, and governance of global ecommerce KPI frameworks. Build, automate, and scale advanced reporting solutions (using Power BI and other tools) that deliver forward-looking, actionable insights. Define benchmarks and performance targets to support continuous improvement and accelerated growth.
- Business Partnering & Decision Support: Act as the senior analytics partner to commercial, marketing, digital, and supply chain stakeholders. Lead business reviews by transforming complex datasets into compelling narratives and actionable strategies.
- Advanced Analytics & Problem Solving: Conduct deep-dive analyses, root cause assessments, and predictive simulations to uncover growth and efficiency opportunities. Apply advanced analytics techniques where appropriate, including forecasting, pricing elasticity modeling, and media attribution analysis.
- Data Integrity & Analytics Innovation: Champion data quality, consistency, and accessibility across ecommerce systems. Lead initiatives to streamline, automate, and future-proof analytics workflows, enabling self-service insights for broader teams. Stay ahead of digital trends by integrating new data sources and technologies to enhance analytical impact.
The skills and knowledge you’ll bring:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field).
- 8+ years of experience in ecommerce analytics, digital analytics, or data-driven strategy roles, preferably in a global or multi-market environment.
- Proven track record of influencing senior stakeholders through data-driven storytelling and strategic insights.
- Expert-level proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, and data visualization best practices.
- Experience with SQL and familiarity with Python for advanced analytics is a strong advantage.
- Deep understanding of ecommerce and digital KPIs, including the interconnected dynamics of traffic, conversion, pricing, media, and supply.
- Exceptional communication skills — able to distill complex data into clear, impactful business narratives.
- Experience leading cross-functional projects, mentoring analysts, and building analytics capabilities is highly desirable.
What we’ll give you in return:
- Internationally competitive base salary, benchmarked against global industry and market leaders.
- Performance-based Annual Incentive Program, rewarding those who dare and achieve more.
- Top-of-the-market pension plan with the opportunity for higher employee contributions.
