Job Title:  Sales Support Specialist

Location:

GB

About the role:

Are you commercially curious, highly analytical and someone who enjoys getting things done? Do you like working with data, solving problems and being close to the action within a fast-paced Sales environment?

We are looking for a Sales Support Executive to join our UKI team during an exciting period of growth. This is a varied and hands-on role that sits closely alongside the Sales team, combining sales support, data analysis, financial administration, pricing and customer management.

This is not a role where you will simply follow a fixed job description. We are looking for someone who is naturally curious, takes initiative and is happy to roll up their sleeves and help wherever the business needs them. With the UKI business growing rapidly, new priorities and opportunities come up regularly – and you will have the opportunity to get involved in a wide range of projects and make a visible contribution.

The impact you’ll make:

You will work closely with the Sales team and support the wider business across a broad range of commercial and operational activities, including:

  • Sales reporting & analytics: Create, maintain and analyse daily and weekly sales reports, providing insights into sales performance, pricing, stock and revenue across customers in the Core channel.
  • Turn data into insights: Identify trends, opportunities and issues within our data and translate them into clear reporting and recommendations to support better business decisions.
  • Pricing & trade spend: Work closely with the Sales and Pricing teams to manage rebates, accruals, claims, disputes and financial reconciliations, ensuring information is accurate and up to date.
  • Customer & sales administration: Support the smooth running of sales processes, including new product and new line set-up, promotional management, customer commitments and master data.
  • Data quality: Reconcile reports and maintain the integrity and accuracy of internal systems and commercial data.
  • Commercial support: Work alongside Sales and contribute to account planning, customer reviews and regular business meetings, helping the team understand performance and identify opportunities.
  • Process improvement: Create, implement and maintain sales playbooks and look for ways to make processes more efficient, consistent and effective.
  • Business projects & events: Get involved in a variety of projects beyond day-to-day sales support, including customer events, product demonstrations, consumer events and activities with the Marketing team.
  • Leadership team support: Provide ad hoc reporting, analysis and coordination support to the Leadership Team, including meeting planning, diary coordination and business communications.
  • Be ready to get involved: As part of a growing business, you will be encouraged to take ownership, support colleagues and pick up new challenges as they arise.

The skills and knowledge you’ll bring:

We’re looking for someone who combines analytical ability with commercial curiosity and a hands-on attitude.

You might be a recent graduate with some commercial experience, or you may already have experience in Sales Support, Commercial, Business Analysis, Sales Operations or a similar environment. More important than having a perfect match to every requirement is that you are curious, capable and eager to learn.

You will ideally bring:

  • Strong numerical and analytical skills, with the ability to work confidently with data and turn it into meaningful insights.
  • Excellent Excel skills; experience with Power BI is a plus, or a genuine willingness to learn.
  • A good understanding of financial and commercial concepts, with an interest in Sales and business performance.
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Excellent organisation and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise in a fast-moving environment.
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset – you see something that needs doing and take ownership of it.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to work across different teams and levels of the organisation.
  • A flexible and hands-on approach. You are not someone who only wants to work within the boundaries of a job description.
  • A collaborative mindset and willingness to support others when priorities change.
  • Curiosity and ambition to develop your career within the business, whether that is within Sales, Key Account Management, Commercial or another area.

What we’ll give you in return:

This is an opportunity to join a high-growth business and gain broad exposure to the commercial side of the organisation.

You will work directly alongside experienced Sales professionals, develop your understanding of customers, pricing and financial performance, and build valuable analytical and commercial skills. At the same time, the breadth of the role means you will have exposure to Marketing, Leadership and a variety of business projects.

If you are someone who likes data, enjoys solving problems, wants to understand how a business works and is excited by the opportunity to make things happen, this could be a great next step.
