About the role:
We are looking for an accomplished “Rebates Analyst” for a 1-year assignment to join our winning team based in Istanbul office!
This position provides a unique opportunity to contribute to the finance operations of the market leader in Turkey's SDA industry.
The impact you’ll make:
- Challenges and monitors trade investment & advertising spend based on annual budget and strategic fit
- Analyses margin performance by identifying pricing impact, incremental volume, mix impact & product cost changes
- Collaborates with Functional Leaders across the market to continuously get their input on forward-looking inputs as part of the planning process
- Supports the planning & performance cycle for the entity
- Prepares budgets and forecasts and compare vs actual company data to identify issues and opportunities
- Prepares monthly results & deviation analysis to report to in-country management team
- Conducts analysis to identify trends as input for operational and strategic planning process
- Monitors and controls balances of various accrual accounts and ensures availability of adequate supporting documentation
The skills and knowledge you’ll bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, business, or a related field is preferred.
- +3 years of relevant finance experience is needed.
- Knowledge of rebate structures and financial reporting
- Proficiency in data management, financial systems, and software tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI and ERP systems, mainly with SAP)
- Prior and/or current experience in FMCG, consumer goods and/or consumer electronics industry is an added bonus.
- Fluent English in both spoken and written language is required for this role.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks with deadlines
