Additionally, lead quality continuous improvement activities (solving complex product issues) when necessary or upon request from the PDM team (in China).
The impact you’ll make:

- Facilitating and reviewing FMEA with high-level design principles
- Lead and coach the project team on the Quality Plan and quality tools (e.g., DFSS).
- Communicate regularly on quality status, especially safety elements at the architecture level; monitor throughout project execution; capture learnings from earlier projects (both on the development process and technical issues, FCR, PFQ improvements) and initiate improvements in new/current features.
- Work with the Pre-D team in a quality role to ensure a smooth handover from Pre-Development outcomes to the PDM (Product Development Management) team.
- Ensure product safety, compliance, regulatory, and sustainability requirements through high-level architecture/feature assessments during Pre-D when necessary (e.g., considering new EU directives such as easily replaceable battery packs in cordless vacuum cleaners at the design stage).
- Support LCM (Life Cycle Management) activities to ensure smooth launches of existing products into new markets and identify root causes/resolutions for sustaining product issues.
- Support Pre-D activities, especially HBSRA (Safety Risk Assessment), to prevent significant issues later in the PDM phase.
- Lead cross-functional teams toward achieving the desired product quality level.
- Organize and analyze defect samples from the EU market, seeking opportunities for product improvement when necessary or upon request from the PDM team.
The skills and knowledge you’ll bring:

- Certified Green Belt (GB) or Black Belt (BB) preferred.
