Job Title:  Project Quality Engineer

About the role:

As a Project Quality Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring product and process excellence across our innovative projects, contributing directly to Versuni’s purpose: turning houses into homes through quality, safety, and trust.

Versuni Orastie plant is one of TOP 100 manufacturing companies in Romania and is a home for Philips coffee machines and irons, employing 1600 people! The impact you’ll make:

• Lead and support PFMEA (Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) to proactively identify and mitigate risks in manufacturing processes.
• Develop and maintain Control Plans, ensuring process controls are aligned with quality standards and customer requirements.
• Act as a Problem-Solving Moderator by facilitating structured 8D problem-solving sessions for internal complaints and driving cross-functional collaboration.
• Conduct Internal Process Audits to assess compliance, identify improvement areas, and drive continuous quality enhancement.
• Generate and analyze Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reports, turning data into actionable insights to elevate process and product quality.
   

The skills and knowledge you’ll bring:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a quality engineering or manufacturing environment.
• Solid expertise in Core Tools: APQP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, Control Plan, and PPAP.
• Proficiency in Problem Solving methodologies, particularly 8D.
• Strong technical knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality systems.
• Good command of Excel and PowerPoint for data handling and presentation.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence effectively.
• English proficiency at B2+ level, both written and spoken.
