Job Title:  Product Owner - App Experience

About the role:

As Product Owner App Experience, you are responsible for driving the development and continuous improvement of our digital platforms, with a focus on enhancing user experience (UX) and delivering business value through innovative digital solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including UX/UI designers, developers, business stakeholders, and marketing teams, to ensure that digital products align with customer needs and business goals. Your role will be central to shaping the vision and direction of digital experiences that engage, retain, and delight our users.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and communicate the product vision for digital. Develop and maintain the product roadmap, ensuring prioritization of features and improvements
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders (business, design, marketing, engineering, etc.) to translate business goals and customer needs into clear product requirements and user stories.
  • Prioritize the product backlog by evaluating user stories, defining acceptance criteria, and ensuring that development teams have a clear understanding of requirements and expected outcomes. Work closely with UX/UI designers to ensure that product features and functionality are designed with the best user experience in mind.
  • Act as the voice of the customer, using user research, data analytics, and feedback to guide product decisions and continuously improve the digital experience.
  • Lead agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives) to ensure smooth and efficient product development cycles. Work closely with development teams to ensure timely delivery of product features and enhancements, balancing scope, resources, and deadlines.
  • Ensure transparency around progress, risks, and blockers with stakeholders, providing regular updates on the status of product development. Facilitate communication between internal teams, ensuring alignment on product priorities, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations, ensuring that priorities are aligned and that product features are delivered as promised. Oversee the successful launch of new digital products and features, ensuring that marketing, sales, and customer support teams are equipped with the necessary tools and information.

 

The skills and knowledge you’ll bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Digital Marketing, UX/UI Design, or a related field.
  • A Master’s degree or certifications in Agile, Product Management, or UX design is a plus
  • 3-5 years of experience in product management, with a focus on digital products, user experience, and agile methodologies
  • Proven experience in digital product ownership, specifically working on web, mobile, or ecommerce platforms, and improving digital user experiences.
  • Experience in agile environments, working with Scrum, Kanban, or similar methodologies to deliver products in iterative cycles.
