Job Title:  Product Manager

Location:

NL

About the role:

As Product Manager, you will be the driving force behind the success of your product portfolio — ensuring outstanding consumer experiences and strong business results. You represent the voice of the consumer across the full end-to-end product development journey — from shaping the value proposition and defining specifications, to guiding development and managing product lifecycle decisions.
While our Marketing team defines “where to play,” you will answer the critical question of “how to win” — turning insights and opportunities into winning product propositions.
Product Manager contributes across the full product lifecycle — from shaping the value proposition and overseeing development, to launching products that delight consumers with performance, quality, and reliability. Post-launch, you are responsible for tracking product performance and leading corrective actions to continuously improve consumer satisfaction and project delivery.
You contribute to portfolio simplification and complexity reduction to support VCP (Value Creation Plan) targets, and ensure every product within your scope delivers value — both to the business and to the end user.
Reporting to the Product Director, you are a key driver of cross-functional execution — working closely with Project Managers, R&D, Operations, and Marketing to ensure innovation projects are delivered on time, at quality, and in line with strategic priorities.

The impact you’ll make:

Key Responsibilities
-    Translate the Product Category Strategy into product value proposition and actionable product project specifications. Act as the category expert by understanding consumer insights, competitors, identifying gaps, and enhancing product competitiveness.
-    Contribute to the development of compelling, consumer-centric value propositions by working closely with Marketing to synthesize inputs on "where to play," consumer insights, market potential, and claims into clear, differentiated product concepts.
-    Drive Business Case development to assess commercial impact (Sales, ROI, IGM%) and optimize the product mix, including SKU count and pricing strategy.
-    Act as the voice of the consumer throughout product development, teaming with the Project Leader (who oversees project execution through +6/8 months post-launch) and collaborating with the product research centre, design and other departments, to implement validation testing for consumer satisfaction and acceptance.
-    Drive post-launch feedback loops, coordinating closely with Sales Units, Consumer Care, Quality, and Marketing to analyse Ratings & Reviews, Voice of Consumer (VoC), and service data. Use insights to define and implement corrective actions that improve satisfaction and performance.
-    Contribute to lifecycle management (LCM) by working with the Innovation & Development team on range improvements, extensions, and market animations; with Supply to plan end-of-life; and with Cost-improvement Project Leads to drive margin improvement initiatives (IGM%).

KPI's
-    Business Target Achievement: Share (%) of launched products meeting or exceeding planned business objectives (e.g., Sales, IGM%)
-    On-Time Delivery: Percentage of product development projects completed according to schedule
-    Consumer Satisfaction & Quality: Ratings & Reviews, Recommendation Rate, and % of deliverables meeting defined quality standards
-    Stakeholder Satisfaction: Feedback from cross-functional teams, including Project Management, Marketing, and Markets
-    Team & Process Efficiency: Effective use of resources, adherence to project governance, and contribution to continuous improvement

The skills and knowledge you’ll bring:

-    3+ years of experience in product management or a related role, ideally within a consumer-focused or technology-driven environment
-    Proven track record in managing complex projects — including budgets, timelines, risks, and cross-functional coordination
-    Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field
-    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively in dynamic environments
-    Excellent communicator and collaborator, comfortable influencing across functions and aligning diverse teams around shared goal

What we’ll give you in return:

  • Internationally competitive base salary, benchmarked against global industry and market leaders.
  • Performance-based Annual Incentive Program, rewarding those who dare and achieve more.
  • Top-of-the-market pension plan with the opportunity for higher employee contributions.
