About the role:

The Indirect Procurement Expert & Center of Excellence (COE) plays a critical role in enabling procurement excellence across the organization. This position supports category strategy execution, analytics, tools, and process improvement for global indirect procurement. It acts as the operational backbone and transformation engine for the team, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and best practices in procurement operations.

The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, procurement process knowledge, and the ability to partner cross-functionally to drive business value and operational efficiency.

The impact you’ll make:

1. Procurement Center of Excellence (COE)

  • Develop and maintain procurement policies, processes, templates, and tools to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Lead indirect procurement process optimization initiatives (e.g., sourcing cycle time, supplier onboarding, contract lifecycle).
  • Champion best practices and standardization across global teams.

2. Strategic Procurement Support

  • Support Category Managers in key sourcing initiatives across categories such as IT, Marketing, HR, Logistics, and Facilities.
  • Assist in preparing RFx events, supplier evaluations, total cost of ownership analyses, and negotiation strategies.
  • Monitor supplier performance data and support performance improvement programs.

3. Data Analytics & Reporting

  • Own and improve spend visibility tools and dashboards; ensure accurate, real-time spend reporting by category, region, and supplier.
  • Deliver procurement KPIs and performance metrics to internal stakeholders and procurement leadership.
  • Conduct opportunity assessments using data insights to support sourcing pipeline planning.

4. Technology & Procurement Systems

  • Act as the subject matter expert (SME) on procurement tools (e.g., SAP Ariba, Coupa, Power BI, Tableau).
  • Drive system adoption and user training; serve as liaison between procurement and IT for tool enhancements and issue resolution.

5. Stakeholder & Change Management

  • Collaborate with regional procurement and business stakeholders to embed process improvements and align on change initiatives.
  • Support global rollouts of procurement programs and change management efforts tied to tools, processes, or policy shifts.

6. Governance & Risk Management

  • Ensure compliance with procurement governance, risk, and controls frameworks.
  • Support contract management processes and maintain the indirect procurement document repository.

The skills and knowledge you’ll bring:

  • 3–7 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or a related COE or analytics role.
  • Strong knowledge of indirect procurement categories and processes.
  • Proven experience working with procurement systems and spend analytics tools.
  • Highly proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a global, fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field (Master’s or CPSM/CIPS a plus).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; fluency in English required.
