Job Title:  Procurement Process Expert Direct Procurement

About the role:

As a Procurement Process Expert, you will design and implement procurement processes and systems in the direct procurement area for our manufacturing and commercial sites. As a process expert, you will play an important role in the procurement product team, collaborating with stakeholders and technical teams. You'll be in charge of translating complex business requirements into clear functional specifications for technical teams. Your experience will guide the design of scalable, secure procurement processes that support our strategic objectives. In this role, you will not only define process roadmaps but also act as a liaison between procurement strategy and operational execution.

The impact you’ll make:

• Responsible for direct procurement processes and systems, including design, implementation, and continuous improvement, as well as driving operational excellence.

• Create and implement a master data framework to drive strategic alignment of procurement and supply chain management Processes and Systems (for all Business Models).

• Defining and driving the future roadmap for processes, systems, KPIs, operational models and data.

• Assisting cross-functional End2End transformation teams in adopting best practices, identifying business requirements and possibilities for improvement, and eliminating unrewarded complexity.

• Design and provide training for cross-functional procurement user groups to ensure they understand the consequences of (incorrect) master data across the whole supply chain.

• Participate in Cross BIU networks to share best practices and discover possibilities for collaboration between master data teams throughout the world and shared service centers.

• Adopt/create new standards and practices for information exchange within the organization, both internally and externally, to improve communication and collaboration.

• Ensure effective communication with all stakeholders and customers to promote performance and improvements.

• Leading process and system projects to ensure master data management and Reporting for new processes, tools, and requirements (internal and external).

The skills and knowledge you’ll bring:

• Your expertise in procurement processes and systems, particularly SAP S4 Hana, would be beneficial in the position of developing and maintaining process designs. You should be able to transform business requirements into actionable, future-proof processes and solutions. You have firsthand familiarity with business applications (ideally SAP S4 Hana). Your ability to create and maintain clear processes and documentation ensures alignment across direct procurement and supply chain business functions. With a strategic approach, you strike a balance between innovation and business objectives, using excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills to increase efficiency. You are passionate about emerging trends and best practices, and you are constantly looking for ways to improve our procurement processes and systems to align with the technological landscape.

  • Min. 8 years’ experience in Procurement and Information Technology

  • Bachelor’s degree in (Business/ Information Technology/ Supply Chain Management/Operations Management or a related field)

  • Proven experience with SAP systems specific to Procurement, preferably in the context of SAP S4/HANA

  • Strong understanding of the Source to Pay process and procurement best practices.

  • Proficiency in Agile Methodology and familiarity with tools such as Azure Dev-ops

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office solutions such as SharePoint, Teams, Excel and PowerPoint

  • Demonstrates expertise in creating change and innovation, with a growth mentality and the capacity to think creatively.

  • Demonstrates strong communication and interpersonal skills, collaborating effectively with stakeholders across business and technical functions to meet project milestones.

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities; meticulous; able to convert business needs into workable data solutions; and able to provide outcomes in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.

  • Excellent proficiency in written and verbal communication in English, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely to diverse stakeholders.

  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards related to procurement.

  • Result-oriented with a strong focus on delivering high-quality outcomes.

  • Proactive, flexible, and capable of handling several priorities
