About the role:

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Procurement Director to lead our procurement function and drive significant value across the organization. This pivotal role is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive procurement strategies, optimizing our supply base, and ensuring a cost-effective, resilient, and ethical supply chain. The ideal leader will possess a blend of sharp financial acumen, exceptional negotiation skills, and the ability to foster strong relationships both internally and with key suppliers.

The impact you’ll make:

• Strategy & Leadership: Develop and implement organization-wide procurement strategies aligned with business objectives. Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing procurement team.
• Supplier & Relationship Management: Evaluate, select, and manage strategic supplier relationships. Conduct regular business reviews to ensure performance, innovation, and compliance.
• Commercial Excellence: Negotiate and manage complex contracts, driving improvements in pricing, payment terms, and total cost of ownership. Identify and execute sustainable cost-saving opportunities.
• Risk & Compliance: Proactively identify and mitigate risks within the supply chain. Ensure all procurement activities adhere to company policies and relevant regulatory standards.
• Process & Technology Optimization: Oversee the continuous improvement of procurement processes and the implementation of enabling technologies (e.g., ERP, P2P, sourcing platforms).
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with department heads in Engineering, Manufacturing, Finance, and Marketing to align procurement activities with project and product goals.
• Performance & Analytics: Define, track, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for the procurement function. Utilize data analytics to inform strategic decisions.
• Financial Management: Manage the procurement budget, conduct spend analysis, and contribute to financial forecasting.

The skills and knowledge you’ll bring:

• Proven Track Record: Extensive experience in strategic procurement, with a background as a Procurement Director or a high-potential Senior Manager ready to step up. Demonstrated success in managing large spend categories and delivering year-on-year value.
• Industry Expertise: Strong knowledge of sourcing and procurement best practices within Small Domestic Appliances (SDA) or Consumer Electronics. This is a key requirement.
• Analytical & Financial Acumen: High aptitude for working with numbers, data analysis, and financial modeling to support decision-making.
• Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead, coach, and inspire a team. Strong interpersonal and networking skills.
• Negotiation Mastery: Excellent negotiation and contract management skills, with a history of securing favorable commercial terms.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree (MBA or MSc) is a plus.
