Job Title:  Perfect Store & Trade Marketing Intern

About the role:

This internship gives you a front-row seat to how commercial activation, retail excellence, and shopper experience come together to shape consumer choices. You’ll be part of a dynamic team that turns strategy into action across our market, supporting everything from product launches to in-store visibility. It’s hands-on, collaborative, and a great opportunity to learn how brands win at the point of sale. 

The impact you’ll make:

  • Drive the monthly activation calendar for trade-managed accounts by keeping tasks on track and ensuring timely updates. 
  • Strengthen the execution of the 12month commercial and communication activation plan aligned with the integrated market activation plan. 
  • Elevate data accuracy in key tools by maintaining up-to-date listings, pricing, content, and activation status. 
  • Enhance market understanding by monitoring and reporting brand and competitor retail activity, including pricing, promotions, visibility, and assortment. 
  • Improve retail execution by implementing retail guidelines and supporting in-store display and point-of-sale material tracking. 
  • Ensure continuity of promoter and merchandiser brand projects by coordinating closely with the trade manager. 
  • Boost in-store staff readiness by supporting training logistics, presentations, checklists, and attendance tracking. 
  • Strengthen new product launches by preparing materials, ensuring content readiness, managing documentation, and following up on timelines. 

The skills and knowledge you’ll bring:

  • Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, basic dashboards, data cleaning) and proficiency in PowerPoint. 
  • Clear, proactive communication and a sense of ownership across email, messaging, and meeting coordination. 
  • Exposure to trade marketing and interaction with retail partners. 
  • Hands-on experience with in-store marketing activities. 
  • High attention to detail, including data accuracy, material proofing, and precise photo documentation. 
  • Experience with eCommerce tools (content downloads, SKU hygiene) is an asset. 
  • Understanding of in-store readiness and Perfect Store execution is an asset. 
  • Basic project management skills (checklists or timeline tracking) is an asset. 
  • Familiarity with category management or merchandising principles (planograms, point-of-sale materials) is an asset.
