Job Title:  Operational Planner/Buyer

About the role:

You are part of the team responsible for material acquisition and efficient inventory management. 

Versuni Orastie plant is one of TOP 100 manufacturing companies in Romania and is a home for Philips coffee machines and irons, employing 1600 people! The impact you’ll make:

• Drive Customer Demand Fulfilment by ensuring material availability in the supply chain 
• Plan tactical material (forecast and handshake feedback) with internal and external suppliers and DCs, in an optimized way through the use of planning calculation methods 
• Deal with operational material planning and Purchase Order management 
• Identify supply risks and issues, drive mitigation actions and escalate if needed Master data settings to enable touchless replenishment 
• Run continuous improvement of material supply processes ensuring Versuni Global Processes execution 
• Monitor and secure supplier delivery performance 
• Follow up material life cycle, securing in time availability and prevention of obsolescence 
• Provide Inventory analysis and policy definition to secure material availability against minimum inventory investments 

The skills and knowledge you’ll bring:

• Minimum 1+ year of experience in Operational planning/buying roles 
• Knowledge of calculation and planning methods 
• Ability to work under pressure 
• Working knowledge in Excel 
• Teamwork and eagerness to learn 
• SAP knowledge is a plus 
• Availability to come to the factory
