About the role:
The Media & Big Data Analyst role is responsible for analyzing vast amounts of data from various media platforms. This role involves using advanced analytics tools and techniques to process.
The impact you’ll make:
- Understand the category, competitive landscape, and data challenges and applications in the markets in order to identify business opportunities for brand growth.
- Lead data analysis on consumer behavior studies, EC sales review, outside and insite media strategy via systemetic big data tools, which includes Ali strategy center/databank/DMP, JD shufang/DMP, DouYin Yuntu etc.
- Translate data language into business insight, cooperate among all internal stakeholders including brand, sales, content, CRM, media to build cooperation and provide actionable recommendations as a business partner and advisor.
- Interlink business target with resources and investments, address business opportunities via data insight suggestions includes but not limited to: • Industry and competitor study to have a holistic view of marketing position • Digital consumer behavior, TA identification and segmentation • Traffic acquisition and media efficiency across platforms and on touchpoints, able to provide optimization on media KPIs • Sales performance analysis across EC platforms, able to breakdown business problems into data KPIs • Supports on sales campaigns, promotions, and eCommerce marketing plans, such as TA grouping and budget allocations
- Summarize, report, and communicate findings/results and make business recommendations to internal stakeholders.
- Monitor business results and media spending efficiency through regular data dashboard, and lead business team to read and drive actions.
The skills and knowledge you’ll bring:
- More than 5 years working experience in consumer goods companies, with solid data analysis experiences
- Bachelor’s degree in economics, statistics, marketing or management
- Knowledge of statistics and proficiency with developing data models
- Proficiency in PPT and excel, with knowledge of database query languages
- Knowledge of EC in-site media and traffic analysis, and performance media optimization
- Knowledge of big data tools: Ali databank/DMP, JD shufang, DouYin Yuntu
- Project management skills, able to motivate and lead agencies to ensure high quality work
- Strong communication skills, as well as written and verbal presentation skills
- Strong cross function cooperation experiences
