Job Title:  Marketing Manager

About the role:

Serves as the category champion for the North America region for the Home and Kitchen Categories, leading portfolio architecture and go-to-market initiatives. Must have a strong comprehension of local market dynamics - including competition, pricing and positioning.


Serves as the liaison between global product development and marketing teams, providing visibility into regional performance and elevating opportunities for unlocking future growth.

Advocates on behalf of the region, developing business cases, while collaborating to resolve headwinds impacting the business.

 

RANDSTAD HIRING: This is as a temporary third party position (to cover maternity leave).

The impact you’ll make:

Go-to-Market Excellence (Mental Availability):

  • Lead a team of cross-functional partners in building and executing localized GTM plans across all consumer touch points including in-store execution, digital shelf, ecommerce, paid media, owned media and earned media, PR, product seeding and sampling, and inventory availability.
  • Ensure visibility within the organization - holding key stakeholders accountable for driving on-time, on-strategy and on-budget executions related to NPI and campaign launches.
  • Conduct post analysis on all activations, demonstrating depth of knowledge in both business performance impacts (sell in, sell out) and advertising KPIs (ROAS, CTR, CVR, etc). Recommend improvements and socialize those learnings to drive future success across all COE (centers of excellence) such as Amazon Media, DTC and Retail Media.

 

Category Management (Scalable Portfolio):

  • Responsible for strategic portfolio management and SKU rationalization efforts including phase in and phase out, pricing strategies, and commercial strategies in the assigned categories.
  • Translate global category and product strategies into actionable regional strategies – identifying the breakthrough messaging needed to increase marketability and maximizing sales.
  • Demonstrate depth of knowledge of AnP spend and PnL impacts to drive accountability across center of excellence – ensuring each team can provide relevant business cases for their investment asks and expenditures to the business.

 

Sales Enablement (Physical Availability):

  • Collaborate with key account managers for sell-in strategy, retailer placement, and channel management across key launches.
  • Localize the value proposition of our products to ensure our sales tools support the selling process of the products and keep sales teams informed on any product related changes to our process.

The skills and knowledge you’ll bring:

  • Min. 3-5 years experience in Marketing, according business scope
  • Min. HBO (or local equivalent) in Marketing
  • Knowledge in digital marketing, media planning, online sales, business management
  • Fluent in English and ready to learn local languages if not known
