Job Title: Marketing Manager - Benelux
BE
About the role:
Are you ready to lead impactful marketing campaigns, digital activations, and drive commercial success across the Benelux market? As a Marketing Manager, you will develop and execute end-to-end local marketing strategies across the entire Consumer Decision Journey—from high-impact ATL campaigns down to social-first activations and point of purchase.
In this role, you will act as the single point of ownership for your category, taking full P&L accountability while serving as the strategic bridge between local commercial operations and Global Headquarters. You will leverage social media, influencer partnerships, and user-generated content (UGC) alongside traditional media channels to engage modern consumers. You will join a dynamic Benelux organization, collaborating closely with Marketing Managers, Media & PR, Trade Shopper Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, and Consumer Care.
The ideal candidate thrives in a complex matrix organization, seamlessly managing diverse stakeholders while taking complete end-to-end ownership of the business. You will report directly to the Marketing Leader North-Europe.
This position is open to hire someone in Belgium or the Netherlands.
The impact you’ll make:
- Strategic Leadership & P&L Ownership: Define and implement long- and short-term local marketing strategies tailored to consumer, market, and competitor insights. Own full category P&L, managing annual sales, margin targets, price realization, and market share growth across the Benelux region.
- Integrated & Social-First Consumer Marketing: Build and execute a rolling 360-degree consumer marketing plan. Lead campaign execution across all touchpoints, seamlessly connecting broad ATL reach with digital, social, brand website, and in-store activations.
- Social, Influencer & UGC Strategy: Drive brand engagement through local social media strategies. Build influencer partnerships, foster user-generated content (UGC), and create social-first content strategies that resonate with local audiences and build community brand loyalty.
- Portfolio & Launch Management: Manage local portfolio optimization, product lifecycle strategies, and local pricing in alignment with Commercial Excellence teams. Lead product launches (NPIs) and collaborate with global category teams to shape long-term product roadmaps.
- Content Localization & Creation: Adapt global marketing toolkits into locally appealing assets, enriching global master creative with bespoke local content, influencer activations, and social initiatives.
- Media Strategy & Budgeting: Partner with media agencies and internal media leadership to define channel strategies (including paid social and performance media), allocate budgets effectively, and maximize campaign ROI.
- Commercial & Cross-Functional Alignment: Work hand-in-hand with Sales, Trade Shopper Marketing, and Demand Planning to align promotions, retail execution, full-year volume forecasting, and in-store/online commercial activations.
The skills and knowledge you’ll bring:
- Educational Background: Master’s degree, preferably in Business, Marketing, Digital Media, or a related commercial discipline.
- Professional Experience: 4–8 years of experience in a commercial marketing role with a proven track record of managing full P&L performance and delivering measurable business results.
- Campaign & Social Expertise: Strong consumer mindset with demonstrated success in running 360-degree consumer campaigns (ATL/BTL), as well as a deep understanding of social media platforms, influencer management, and UGC strategies.
- Analytical Capability: High analytical acumen with the ability to turn complex market and digital engagement data into actionable strategic insights.
- Strategic & Execution Balance: Ability to think strategically while remaining pragmatic with a sharp eye for excellent, detailed execution across all touchpoints.
- Stakeholder Management: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Adept at navigating matrix organizations, aligning cross-functional teams, and defending strategic business interests with diverse stakeholders.
- Languages: Fluent in Dutch and English; proficiency in French is a strong advantage.
