About the role:
We are Versuni. Home to some of the world’s most renowned domestic appliance brands. Our purpose is to turn houses into homes. To deliver on this promise, we stay relentlessly consumer obsessed, operate as one team across borders, and embrace an ownership mindset in everything we do. These principles define how we work, innovate and grow.
We are now looking for a Marketing Director CEE to shape and accelerate Versuni's growth across the region covering 19 markets. Reporting to General Manager CEE, this is a business-critical regional leadership role combining strategic marketing leadership with strong commercial and operational ownership.
The role requires a leader who can connect the regional agenda with hands-on execution in key markets, particularly Poland, acting effectively as a two-in-one leader: regional Marketing Director and Poland Marketing Director.
Working in an environment shaped by private equity ownership and a strong focus on profitable growth, you will be accountable for translating consumer and market opportunities into tangible business results. This means not only setting the strategy, but also understanding the detail, making decisions quickly and getting close to the execution when needed.
This role is based in Warsaw, with an expectation of regular office presence and occasional business travel abroad.
The impact you’ll make:
• Own the regional marketing strategy across 19 markets, balancing different levels of market maturity, consumer behaviour and commercial opportunity.
• Act as the Marketing Director for Poland alongside the regional responsibility, ensuring strong connection between regional strategy and local business performance.
• Lead an 18-month rolling forecast, connecting category ambitions, market dynamics and commercial priorities to deliver profitable growth.
• Drive portfolio and category strategy, including product positioning, assortment, pricing and activation choices, with full financial accountability.
• Own and optimise marketing investment and effectiveness, measuring ROI and ensuring marketing resources are allocated to the activities and channels generating the greatest business impact.
• Develop and execute 360° integrated marketing strategies, connecting brand building, performance marketing, media, e-commerce, shopper marketing and retail media from awareness through to conversion.
• Bring strong e-commerce and retail media expertise, understanding their role as critical sales and consumer engagement channels and ensuring they are fully integrated into the commercial and marketing strategy.
• Translate global strategies into locally relevant plans, using consumer insights, market intelligence and data analytics to identify growth opportunities and build competitive advantage.
• Work closely with Sales to represent the business with distributors, retailers and other key customers, jointly developing and executing commercial and customer plans.
• Lead and optimise significant marketing budgets, ensuring disciplined investment decisions and clear linkage between spend and business outcomes.
• Stay close to the business and execution — combining strategic leadership with a hands-on approach when required, particularly in the Polish market.
• Lead, coach and develop senior Marketing Managers and leaders across multiple countries, often remotely, creating clarity, accountability and high performance across a diverse organisation.
• Build capability and engagement in a flat organisational structure, developing people through coaching, influence and broader opportunities.
• Build and maintain an effective operating model between Marketing, Sales, E-Commerce, Finance, Supply Chain and other internal teams, as well as external agencies.
• Navigate ambiguity, change and evolving business priorities, while building the organisation's capabilities and maintaining momentum.
• Partner with local and global executive stakeholders, ensuring alignment, transparency and visibility on business performance and priorities
The skills and knowledge you’ll bring:
• 15+ years of relevant marketing and commercial experience, ideally gained in global FMCG, consumer goods and/or consumer electronics environments.
• Significant multi-country leadership experience, ideally across complex, diverse markets and organisations, with a proven ability to adapt strategy to different levels of market maturity.
• Proven experience operating at Marketing Director / senior regional marketing leadership level, with accountability extending beyond marketing into broader commercial business performance.
• Strong track record of P&L ownership, category and portfolio strategy, pricing, forecasting and commercial decision-making.
• Demonstrated ability to measure marketing effectiveness and ROI, optimise investment and link marketing activity directly to business outcomes.
• Strong understanding of e-commerce, retail media and digitally led consumer journeys, with the ability to integrate these channels into broader commercial and marketing strategies.
• Experience working closely with Sales, distributors, retailers and key customers, ideally in a market-facing commercial environment.
• Proven ability to operate with a hands-on, operational mindset — comfortable moving between strategic direction and execution and getting into the detail when the business requires it.
• Significant experience leading senior teams and leaders across multiple countries, including remote and matrix environments.
• Strong leadership presence and the ability to lead through influence, expertise and credibility, particularly within flat organisational structures.
• Demonstrated ability to develop people and build organisational capability, particularly in environments undergoing change or transformation.
• Comfortable operating in ambiguity, complexity and continuous change, with a pragmatic, solution-oriented and high-ownership mindset.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and align senior leaders across functions, markets and global organisations.
• Fluent English&Polish, both written and spoken.
What we’ll give you in return:
• Competitive base salary | benchmarked against global industry and market leaders.
• Annual Incentive Program | performance based.
