Job Title:  Manufacturing Operational Excellence Specialist

About the role:

The main purpose of the role is to drive continuous improvement initiatives and optimize operational efficiency. This role focuses on enhancing production processes, reducing waste, improving quality, and increasing overall productivity within the manufacturing environment.
Versuni Orastie plant is one of TOP 100 manufacturing companies in Romania and is a home for Philips coffee machines and irons, employing 1600 people! The impact you’ll make:

•    Support the implementation of new critical capabilities and standardized Ways of Working
•    Maintain Operational Excellence methodology and tools on one or more specific areas
•    Ensure Kaizen events/ improvement workshops are properly planned / executed / sustained
•    Support the business in resolving issues, using the known Lean and 6S tools, the CI methodology
•    Strive to identify and improve cost saving opportunities by streamlining processes
•    Work together with Site leadership to implement improvement plans (project lead onsite)

The skills and knowledge you’ll bring:

•    Bachelor degree in Business or Engineering 
•    3-5 years of experience in hands-on jobs leading lean projects/continuous improvements in manufacturing 
•    Analytic and conceptual thinking
•    Working experience in SAP Warehouse Management system
•    Good MS Office skills with strong Excel skills
•    Proven track of record in conducting successful Kaizen events
•    Fluent in Romanian and intermediate English
•    Project management skills, influencing skills 
•    Presence required on-site 5 days a week
