About the role:
The Key Account Manager is responsible for driving the sales and business development of small appliance products across major retail and online accounts in Thailand. Coverage would be modern retail and Southern part of Thailand
This role focuses on building strong customer relationships, executing sales strategies, and ensuring alignment with brand goals and market expansion.
The impact you’ll make:
1. Account Management
- Manage and grow key retail accounts (e.g., modern trade, traditional trade).
- Serve as the primary contact for buyers, merchandising teams, and category managers.
2. Sales Planning & Execution
- Develop annual business plans and joint business plans with key accounts.
- Track sales performance vs targets and initiate corrective actions as needed.
- Manage sales forecasting and inventory planning in collaboration with supply chain teams.
3. Promotion & Trade Marketing
- Collaborate with trade marketing to develop and implement in-store and online promotions.
- Ensure timely execution of campaigns and product launches.
4. Category & Market Analysis
- Analyze category trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activities.
- Provide insights and recommendations to optimize assortment and pricing strategies.
5. Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work with internal teams including marketing, logistics, finance, and customer service to ensure seamless operations.
- Lead the negotiation of annual trading terms and promotional agreements.
6. Reporting & Budget Management
- Monitor budget usage (trade spend, promotional support).
- Prepare monthly reports on account performance, issues, and opportunities.
The skills and knowledge you’ll bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Economics or related field.
- 5–7 years of experience in key account management, preferably in consumer electronics or home appliances.
- Strong understanding of Thailand’s retail landscape (offline and online).
- Excellent communication (Thai & English), negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Power BI and data analysis tool would be advantageous
- Comfortable with up to 50% travelling within Thailand
