Job Title:  Junior Communication Designer

About the role:

The impact you’ll make:

As part of the design team, you are crafting engaging digital communication design across multiple touch points and packaging for our home appliances that people love to own and are delightful to use.

You are responsible for:

• Supporting multiple projects and strategic initiatives. 
• Supporting the communication design activities and delivering relevant output on time and with quality throughout the full ‘Solution Development Process’ from project initiation to product launch
• Occasionally leading smaller projects or new initiatives, depending on complexity and skillset requirements
• Supporting consumer and competitor research to identify user needs and design opportunities to create value and differentiation
• Crafting digital CDJ content, Communication Framework, Assets, product landing pages content for online channels
• Delivering packaging artwork and design
• Applying communication design guidelines to maintain brand consistency
• Reviewing artwork and assets creation and deliver feedback documentations to ensure design intents are implemented
• Teaming up with designers from different disciplines and with project team members from marketing, R&D and other relevant functions

The skills and knowledge you’ll bring:

• Bachelor or Master Degree in visual communication or graphic design or related education
• 2-5 years' relevant experience in home appliances or consumer electronics, with a great sense of aesthetics….
• Ability to support on communication design content creation, from digital and packaging, to in-store
• Review and guide assets creation
• Solid craft of design skills, including artwork illustration and retouching, visual semantics and visual hierarchy.
• Professional, independent, pro-active, eager to learn and improve with a collaborative and can-do mindset
• Bringing fresh and bold ideas to the team
• You can work with a full range of core design software tools and applications – Adobe CS (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign etc.) and CGI related software.
• Willing to travel to prototype/model makers, suppliers and exhibitions
• Strong narrative ability in verbal and written communication in English
