About the role:
As a Product Marketing intern, you will support the positioning, definition and introduction of products that bring ever-more rewarding and enjoyable experiences to consumers by meeting their needs. You will drive consumer and shopper research as well as competitive analyses, to identify and optimize winning concepts, integrate these new concepts into strategic product roadmaps, and develop and bring the concept from idea to market.
You will be part of the Espresso Product Marketing team, a dedicated group of Product Marketing Managers, within the Business Group Coffee, and part of the wider new Versuni / Philips Domestic Appliances organization.
Location: Amsterdam (hybrid, 2 days per week in the office)
Type: Internship (not suitable for thesis)
Duration: 6 -12 months
Working Hours: 40 hours per week
Expected Start Date: ASAP
The impact you’ll make:
- Support in Product Development projects, including analysis on consumer, market data and competitors.
- Support in developing value propositions and detailed product specifications for new product introductions.
- Creation of benchmarks to optimize go to market strategy and activation.
- Support the Marketing Team with (Internal & External) Event organization and Preparation.
- Support product management by gathering specific information and preparation of product introduction material.
- Gather information w.r.t. product strategy, including SWOT analysis.
- Develop presentation material.
The skills and knowledge you’ll bring:
- Currently studying towards your Masters or Bachelor degree in the following fields: Marketing, Communication, Management
- Have strong communication and analytical skills
- Ideally have some relevant internship experience
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint User
- Fluent in English
