Job Title:  Internship: Procurement Excellence

About the role:

Are you passionate about improving processes, solving problems, and working with digital tools? As a Procurement Excellence Intern, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to the optimization and transformation of our global Source-to-Pay processes and systems. Working closely with Procurement professionals, IT teams, and business stakeholders, you'll gain hands-on experience in process improvement, system enhancements, data analysis, and digital transformation initiatives. You'll help drive operational excellence, improve user experiences across procurement platforms, and play an active role in shaping how procurement works in a fast-paced international environment.

 

This is an excellent opportunity to develop practical business and project management skills, build exposure to leading procurement technologies, and gain insight into how global organizations leverage systems and processes to create value.

 

This role is ideal for someone who is curious, proactive, enjoys working with systems and data, and wants to kick-start a career in business process excellence, procurement, or digital transformation.

 

Location: Amsterdam/Eindhoven (hybrid, 2-3 days per week in the office)

Type: Internship (not suitable for thesis)

Duration: 6 months with the possibility to be extended

Working Hours: 40 hours per week

Expected Start Date: ASAP 

The impact you’ll make:

  • Support StP processes, systems and procurement tools  (e.g. S4Hana/Ariba/Archlet).
  • Assist with system testing, issue resolution, and user support.
  • Maintain process documentation and create training frameworks
  • Analyze process data and create reports/dashboards.
  • Contribute to automation/building agents and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Support digital transformation projects within Procurement

 

The skills and knowledge you’ll bring:

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's or master's degree in IT, Business Information Systems, Supply Chain, Procurement, or Engineering.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications.
  • Interest in procurement processes and enterprise systems.
  • Familiarity with SAP, Ariba, Power BI, or automation tools is a plus.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Good communication skills.
