Job Title:  Internship: Employment Law/HR

About the role:

As an Employment Law & HR Intern, you will play a key role in supporting our legal and HR teams on matters related to Dutch labour legislation and employee participation. This internship offers practical exposure to employment law cases, policy compliance, and organizational governance. You’ll assist with Works Council activities, contribute to HR policy updates, and perform legal research to ensure alignment with current regulations. Working alongside experienced professionals, you’ll gain valuable insights into the intersection of law and human resources within a dynamic corporate environment.

• Duration: 6 months
• Working Hours: 40 hours per week
• Expected Start date: ASAP
• You will receive a monthly allowance for the duration of the internship

The impact you’ll make:

• Support to Works Council (Ondernemingsraad)
  Provide secretarial and administrative assistance, including meeting preparation, minute-taking, and document management.
• Labour Law Case Support
  Observe and assist with labour law cases, gaining practical insight into legal processes.
• Policy Updates
  Help review and update HR policies to ensure compliance with Dutch labour legislation and internal standards.
• Legal Team Support
  Assist the legal team with ad hoc cases, jurisprudence research, and literature reviews.

The skills and knowledge you’ll bring:

• Currently enrolled as a student in a Dutch Law program (proof of enrollment will be requested), preferably in your third or fourth year of study.
• Strong interest in Labour Law and Employee Participation Law (medezeggenschapsrecht).
• Availability for at least 3 days per week.
