Looking to drive industrial excellence within a dynamic and innovation-driven manufacturing environment?
As Industrial Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for securing the speed, reliability, and quality of the new product industrialization process, while overseeing NPI ramp-ups to ensure timing and volume targets are met. Acting as a Business Partner, you will also support capacity management, asset maintenance, and continuous process improvement initiatives.
In this role, you will review production processes and specifications, analyse operational data, and drive technological and efficiency improvements across manufacturing operations.
Based in Istanbul, you will become part of a multicultural and globally connected Product Industrialization team.
The impact you’ll make:
- Develop and implement process improvements and technological upgrades to manufacturing processes
- Secure productivity and efficiency in the design of processes for new products by acting as a Business Partner for the respective products
- Review production processes, and specification; evaluate data to implement technological improvements in production processes
- Lead APQP process securing timely implementation and ramp-up quantities
- Work with other departments to develop design and production standards to guarantee product quality
- Overlook capacity bottlenecks, asset maintenance and CAPEX process
- Lead CTX deployment and management in the process
- Support on DFX and quality improvement activities
The skills and knowledge you’ll bring:
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in relevant Engineering departments
- 5 to 10 years of experience in Process Industrialization, preferably with a current and/or prior experience in small domestic appliances, consumer electronics, any other industries relevant to electronics including smart appliances, internet-of-things, connectivity, industry 4.0 and/or manufacturing
- Prior and/or current experience in small domestic appliance industry is a big plus.
- Experienced in the APQP and relative quality tools such as DOE, MSA, PFMEA etc.
- Familiarity with plastic parts, motor and PCBA and/or key process (injection, stamping etc.)
- Fluent in English in both spoken and written language
- Global business experience and stakeholder management across locations
- Proactive, data-driven and analytical thinker
