About the role:

Are you ready to lead the charge in transforming indirect tax operations at a global scale? As an Indirect Tax Senior Manager at Versuni, you’ll play a key role in ensuring compliance, driving innovation in our Tax technology roadmap, and supporting our market success. You’ll work alongside a passionate team, supporting iconic brands like Philips, Saeco, Gaggia, and more

The impact you’ll make:

  • Oversee indirect tax compliance by coordinating the VAT reporting team, to ensure timely and accurate filing of all indirect tax returns
  • Drive the indirect tax compliance process by reviewing and submitting returns with precision and accountability
  • Review the results of indirect tax control framework execution
  • Act as the primary contact for indirect tax audits, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders
  • Champion continuous improvement by identifying and leading initiatives that enhance our indirect tax processes
  • Own the functional maintenance of our tax automation tool (Vertex), ensuring it supports our compliance 
  • Support the rollout of e-invoicing solutions, contributing to our digital transformation journey
  • Ensure indirect tax compliance in new business deployments by collaborating closely with IT and Finance teams

The skills and knowledge you’ll bring:

  • 8+ years of progressive experience in indirect tax, ideally in a multinational enterprise
  • Master’s degree in Tax, Finance or Law is preferred
  • Strong working expertise in international indirect tax regulations - EU VAT law is a must, other jurisdictions will be an additional asset
  • Strong working experience with indirect tax compliance and audit management
  • Experience in driving improvement initiatives in the area of indirect tax
  • Strong working knowledge of SAP environment is a must
  • Experience in working with tax automation tools/ tax engines ( Vertex is strong advantage )
  • Great stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to translate complex regulations into practical guidance
  • Proactive and driven mindset- working independently, anticipating challenges and following through with high standards
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Fluency in English is a must and Polish is added value
