Job Title:  Indirect Channel Manager

About the role:

As an Indirect Channel Manager, you will play a critical role in developing and executing sales strategies for our distributors across emerging markets. You’ll work closely with key partners to ensure alignment with our business objectives, drive revenue growth, and create a seamless experience for our customers. Reporting directly to the District Leader Southeast Asia, based in Singapore, you will lead initiatives that maximize our market presence and profitability.

The impact you’ll make:

  • Drive sales and profitability by working closely with distributors to achieve business objectives.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans tailored to both offline and online sales channels, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Strengthen relationships with channel partners by providing a consistent and structured approach across all markets.
  • Define and manage distributor roles and expectations, ensuring clarity and efficiency in collaboration.
  • Empower partners with knowledge and tools through coaching and education, enabling them to excel in their roles.
  • Monitor and report key account performance metrics, providing insights to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Identify and onboard the right partners, ensuring a strong and capable distribution network.
  • Set clear annual targets and develop joint business plans with channel partners for long-term success.
  • Oversee contract management processes, ensuring all agreements, reviews, and renewals are handled efficiently.
  • Manage the full partner lifecycle, from onboarding to termination, ensuring smooth transitions and continuity.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions where necessary.

The skills and knowledge you’ll bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or a related discipline.
  • At least 8–10 years of proven experience in indirect sales management, distributor management, and business development, preferably in the consumer goods industry.
  • Experience in P&L management, including budgeting, revenue, and margin management.
  • Strong commercial mindset with strategic thinking skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships based on trust and loyalty.
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel for business as needed.
