Job Title:  Environmental Health And Safety Supervisor

About the role:

At Versuni, safety is at the core of all operations. As an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Supervisor, you will play a key role in fostering a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with local and global regulations, and protecting people, processes, and the environment.

You will lead the implementation and continuous improvement of EHS programs, working closely with cross-functional teams to minimize risks and enhance operational performance. This position requires hands-on leadership, strong analytical skills, and the ability to influence stakeholders in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The impact you’ll make:

• Define and implement EHS policies, procedures, and guidelines across the site.
• Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements and global safety standards.
• Monitor and improve workplace safety conditions, minimizing risks and incidents.
• Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action plans.
• Conduct regular audits, inspections, and risk assessments in manufacturing areas.
• Develop and deliver EHS training programs to employees and contractors.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to safety, environment, and compliance.
• Manage environmental programs including waste management, emissions, and sustainability initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Operations, Engineering, Quality, HR) to integrate safety into daily operations.
• Track, report, and analyze EHS performance metrics and KPIs.

The skills and knowledge you’ll bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field.
• Solid experience in Environmental Health & Safety within manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Strong knowledge of local and international EHS regulations and standards.
• Experience with safety audits, risk assessments, and incident investigation methodologies.
• Proven problem-solving and process improvement capabilities.
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to influence and promote a safety-first culture across all levels of the organization.
• Good analytical skills and experience with EHS reporting and KPIs.
• Fluency in English.
