Job Title:  Digital System Architect (Embedded)

About the role:

A Digital System Architect Embedded designs and defines the overall structure of embedded digital systems, ensuring seamless integration of hardware and software components for optimized performance and scalability. He/she leads the system-level architecture development, balancing technical requirements, innovation, and feasibility to create robust solutions for complex embedded applications.

The impact you’ll make:

• Analyze specifications and take responsibility for architecting solutions for RTOS based or bare metal products.
• Communicate complex technical issues to internal and external stakeholders.
• Translate consumer needs in PoC, requirements and user stories.
• Mentor developers to design and deliver high-quality C / C++ code
• Work with our partners across the globe to ensure that our products meet customer needs.
   

The skills and knowledge you’ll bring:

• 5+ years of relevant experience working in embedded projects of various complexities.
• Proficient with documenting software requirements, architecture (4+1 views, UML), and test procedures for software systems/devices.
• Mentored other engineers, worked on code reviews, refactoring, unit testing, code coverage, code performance, static analysis, code debugging and tracing.
• Familiar with state-of-the art software development engineering practices (Agile, DevOps, CI/CD)
• Ideally, you will already have had exposure to risk analyses (e.g. using FMEA), norms (e.g. ISO/IEC) and standards (e.g. MISRA).
• Good sense for product security and privacy in design and review
• Preferable experience with IoT protocols like MQTT, CoAP, REST, TCP/UDP.
• Preferable experience with Bluetooth/BLE.
• Preferable experience with Linux based product architecture.
• Preferable to have worked with Chinese Manufacturers.
• Fluent in English
