About the role:

The Full Automatic Coffee DfX Lead is accountable for delivering Design for Excellence (DfX) impact across the Full Automatic Coffee portfolio through redesign, re-specification and re-sourcing initiatives.
The role owns the DfX initiative portfolio and is responsible for converting opportunities into measurable business impact through cost reduction, margin improvement, quality enhancement and product competitiveness improvements.
Working across Product Management, R&D, Procurement, Quality and Operations, the DfX Lead drives execution, ensures robust governance and maintains a reliable view of delivery against targets.

Key responsibilities
Own DfX business impact
•    Own the DfX initiative portfolio and annual savings targets.
•    Deliver cost reduction and margin improvement commitments.
•    Build and maintain a healthy DfX funnel through redesign, re-specification and re-sourcing opportunities.
•    Identify risks early and implement recovery actions when targets are at risk.
Lead DfX governance
•    Own and maintain the single source of truth for all DfX initiatives.
•    Ensure every initiative has: 
o    Clear owner
o    Financial impact
o    Timing and critical path
o    Dependencies
o    Risk assessment
o    Recovery plan
•    Lead weekly reviews and monthly reporting.
•    Ensure reporting accurately reflects actual project status.
Drive cross-functional execution
•    Lead cross-functional teams across Product Management, R&D, Procurement, Quality and Operations.
•    Drive actions to closure and remove roadblocks.
•    Challenge delays and ensure accountability for delivery.
•    Escalate issues proactively before business targets are impacted.
Support category strategy
•    Identify opportunities to improve competitiveness, profitability and quality.
•    Ensure DfX initiatives are integrated into product roadmaps and platform plans.
•    Translate strategic ambitions into executable projects with measurable outcomes.
Provide management visibility
•    Deliver accurate and timely reporting on DfX performance.
•    Present clear status, risks, opportunities and recovery plans.
•    Act as the recognised source of truth for DfX delivery within the category.

The skills and knowledge you’ll bring:

•    7–10 years of experience in program management, product management, procurement, operations, cost engineering or DfX-related roles.
•    Proven track record delivering multi-million Euro cost reduction, productivity or margin improvement programmes.
•    Experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives in consumer durables, electronics, appliances or related industries.
•    Strong project and portfolio management skills.
•    Strong financial acumen and understanding of savings tracking and business cases.
•    Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
•    Ability to drive execution, challenge stakeholders and deliver results through others.
•    Strong communication skills with a high level of ownership, accountability and execution focus.
