About the role:

Provide leadership and expertise in the Manufacturing Operations manufacturing for the brands “Preethi” and “Philips”

The impact you’ll make:

Overall responsibility for Manufacturing activities (including injection moulding, Paint Shop and assembly lines) Maintenance and Industrial Engineering.
Ensure that manufacturing strategies and processes are in place to meet business objectives and operational needs.
Work upon improving the profitability of the plastic components by vertical integration, cost saving projects
Acquire knowledge of all products and process manufactured in plant and work for improvisation of existing process wherever possible.
Work upon implementation on best practices of manufacturing by building the DA culture.
End to end responsibility in Plastic injection moulding, Mould manufacturing and handling machines, tools etc.
Prepare / Develop and implement complete injection moulding and plastics manufacturing process & systems.
Leading a team with technical expertise, open culture and people centric approach.
Excellent Leadership, Stakeholder Management and Communication Skills.
Knowledge of Design, shop floor management, Site quality, commissioning, People development and Teambuilding
Working closely with the material department and PPC to ensure timely availability of raw materials and maintain plant inventories at their optimal.
Experience in automation projects / process improvement / Lean Manufacturing.
Experience in handling Entire maintenance function including utilities and ensure the smooth operations without any failures on account of maintenance.
Leading the improvements through Industrial engineering / Advance Manufacturing.

The skills and knowledge you’ll bring:

Experience Range : 16 - 22 Years.
Qualifications : B.E Mechanical Engineering/Production/Industrial Engineering/Graduate in Plastics CIPET / NTTF
Preferred Industry : Appliances / Automobile / Engineering / Electrical / Auto Ancillary / Plastics
Meeting the plant key metrics for Production, Maintenance and Advance Manufacturing Engineering.
Design and execute the manufacturing for plastics as per the business strategy
Seamless introduction of new products / LCM as per the schedule.
Lead & Coach the team to improve efficiency through systems, methods, automation etc.
Provide expertise to the team for Design, planning and execution of tools, improvement of existing tools for plastic injection moulding.
