We’re on the lookout for a Demand Planner who will play a key role in overseeing S&OP and S&OE processes across the district, directly reporting to the Function Leader.

The impact you’ll make:

  • Lead S&OP and S&OE processes across Middle East, consolidating 18-month forecasts into a comprehensive market overview
  • Create Sales, Marketing, and Consensus forecasts for the assigned planning horizon, Businesses, and/or Customer Planning Groups which is validated with SC Analytics, and then enriched with all relevant input from Sales, Customers, Customer Project Managers, Supply/Operations, Marketing, Finance, and adjacent functions
  • Review and analyze historical sales trends, sell-out, stock in trade, and research demand drivers
  • Analyze forecast accuracy results, and define and implement corrective actions
  • Support all relevant functions in creating and communicating gap-closing scenarios and revising forecasts for Sales Review Meeting, Activity Review Meeting, and Demand Sign-off Meeting
  • Be responsible for all planning-related agendas, including consolidation of all the meeting inputs, and preparation and distribution of the meeting deck pre-read and output actions decided during the meeting
  • Drive strategic inventory planning across the Middle East region
  • Identify bottlenecks, enhance planning efficiency, and drive process improvements across the supply chain
  • Work closely with W&D, OM, and Commercial teams to ensure seamless operational excellence
  • Drive key KPIs: Forecast Accuracy & Forecast Bias, Excess Inventory, DOC (Days of Cover), OTIF, Optimal Safety Stock Level, Stock Accuracy

The skills and knowledge you’ll bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields
  • 5+ years of planning experience, preferably with multinational work environment experience
  • Past and/or current experience in the FMCG/consumer goods industry is a big plus.
  • Expertise in ERP and advanced planning tools, preferably with SAP
  • Proficient in the S&OP and S&OE cycles
  • Fluency in English, both verbal and written, is a must for this role.
  • Strong analytical, stakeholder management, and communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate on global projects, drive consensus, and present to top management
  • A problem solver who can navigate a hyper-complex, high-speed environment
