About the role:
As a DAM Product Owner at Versuni, you will be responsible for driving the implementation, integrations and continuous improvement of our Digital Asset Management, with a focus on enhancing content effectiveness and delivering business value through optimal content flows from creation to consumer facing frontends. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, business analysts, architects, developers, business stakeholders, and marketing teams, to ensure that DAM system within Content landscape aligns with organisation objectives. Your role will be central to shaping the vision and direction of digital assets management with emphasis on critical content capabilities, content landscape scalability and assets ROI.
The impact you’ll make:
- Define and champion the vision for Digital Asset Management (DAM), driving smarter, more effective content experiences and unlocking business value through seamless content flows from creation to consumer touchpoints.
- Own and evolve the DAM roadmap, prioritizing high-impact capabilities that enable scalable content operations and maximize asset ROI.
- Lead the implementation, integration, and ongoing optimization of DAM, collaborating across teams to align the platform with strategic goals and real user needs.
- Turn business objectives into actionable product requirements and user stories. Shape a value-driven backlog, set clear acceptance criteria. Use insights from data, feedback, and research to guide continuous optimization.
- Run agile standups, tracking progress, and flagging risks early. Keep stakeholders informed and engaged throughout key migrations and feature rollouts, ensuring every team is set up for success.
- Drive transparency and alignment across teams, providing clear updates on product progress, blockers, and timelines. Keep everyone from developers to marketers in sync and moving forward together.
- Balance priorities and manage expectations, aligning with stakeholders on goals, scope, and deliverables. From smooth migrations to impactful feature launches, you’ll ensure that marketing, design, and content teams are fully empowered with the right tools and training.
- This is a pivotal role, steering the DAM strategy within the broader content ecosystem and fuelling content scale, speed, and performance across the board.
The skills and knowledge you’ll bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Digital Marketing, UX/UI Design, or a related field.
- A Master’s degree or certifications in Agile, Product Management, or UX design is a plus.
- 3-5 years of experience in product management, with a focus on digital products, user experience, and agile methodologies.
- Proven experience in digital product ownership, specifically working on web, mobile, or e-commerce platforms, and improving digital user experiences.
- Experience in agile environments, working with Scrum, Kanban, or similar methodologies to deliver products in iterative cycles.
