About the role:
As a Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) Intern, you will join our District North team (Benelux, Nordics and UKI) and help drive our e-commerce business across owned channels and marketplaces, including our website, Amazon, Bol, and TikTok Shop. You will gain hands-on experience in digital commerce, campaign execution, content optimization, and commercial analysis while working closely with local and global stakeholders.
Location: Amsterdam / Eindhoven (hybrid, 2–3 days per week in the office)
Type: Internship (not suitable for thesis)
Duration: 6 months, with possibility to extend
Working Hours: 40 hours per week
Start Date: ASAP
The impact you’ll make:
- Collaborates with 3 D2C managers in District North, local market stakeholders and the global D2C team to bring consumer-centric e-commerce strategies to life.
- Manage the campaign and promotional calendar for North, including timelines, portfolio selection, pricing, and copy/visual reviews, while optimizing the onsite experience and ensuring all deadlines are met across markets.
- Drive 3P marketplace execution, supporting activation and optimization across platforms such as Amazon, bol, and TikTok Shop, ensuring strong visibility, Buy Box performance, and commercial results
- Localize and optimize D2C performance based on specific market and channel needs.
- Be at the heart of peak moments, including Black Friday, gaining hands-on experience in the most critical and exciting sales period of the year!
The skills and knowledge you’ll bring:
- You are enthusiastic, proactive, and curious, with strong communication and interpersonal skills
- You have strong analytical skills and great attention to detail
- You possess advanced knowledge of Excel
- Digitally savvy
- Fluency in English is a hard requirement, fluency in Dutch is a strong plus!
