Job Title:  Country HR Leader

About the role:

This role combines hands-on HR service delivery with proactive support for business goals and people initiatives. As part of the APAC HR team, you will work closely with managers and employees to strengthen capabilities, enhance the employee experience, and ensure HR operations run smoothly and compliantly. The impact you’ll make:

  • Act as the primary HR contact for managers and employees, providing guidance and support on workforce planning, capability development, and team structure.
  • Review & implement HR policies and programs in line with global standards and local legal requirements.
  • Drive initiatives to strengthen employee engagement, retention, and a culture of high performance and accountability.
  • Apply change management knowledge to help teams navigate local transitions or improvements.
  • Ensure accurate maintenance of HR data, employee records, and reporting to meet compliance and policy requirements.
  • Build strong working relationships with managers and employees to foster open communication and collaboration.
  • Liaise with external partners, including payroll and benefits providers, to ensure efficient and compliant HR operations.
  • Work with APAC HR colleagues on regional priorities, sharing insights and best practices.

The skills and knowledge you’ll bring:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a related field (such as human resources, psychology, economics.)
  • More than 10 years of HR experience with a mix of operational HR delivery and business-focused support.
  • Strong understanding of core HR processes (employee relations, performance management, recruitment, payroll) and local labor law requirements.
  • Proven ability to advise and support managers effectively.
  • Experience supporting organizational changes or transitions.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust at all levels.
  • Self-motivated, resilient, and able to manage multiple priorities with a sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Fluent in Korean; proficiency in English is preferred for communication with APAC colleagues.
