Job Title:  Commercial Excellence Lead North-America

About the role:

Responsible for the successful implementation of the commercial strategy across North America, optimizing Revenue Growth Management (incl. pricing strategy, promotion effectiveness and trade term execution) and Key Account Management Excellence. Drives the adoption of data-driven commercial processes and supports commercial capability building. Ensure compliance with Commercial Policy in line with local regulations.

The impact you’ll make:

  • Leads the commercial strategy across North-America, covering Revenue Growth Management (incl. pricing strategy, promotion effectiveness and trade term execution) and Key Account Management Excellence.
  • Leads cross-functional initiatives (incl. sales, marketing, e-commerce, finance) to define commercial excellence priorities aligned to broader business objectives.
  • Implements global pricing, promotion & trade terms frameworks in partnership with global stakeholders, driving profitable growth while adapting to local market specificities.
  • Leads channel strategies tailored to market needs, monitoring and optimizing trade investments in line with Commercial Policy.
  • Drives the adoption of data-driven commercial processes by leveraging global advanced analytics tools e.g. to analyze promotion effectiveness. Tracks performance and shapes recommendations to optimize Commercial Strategy.
  • Ensures full implementation of Commercial Policy in compliance with local regulations and financial directives. Ensures Customer Master Data quality.
  • Implements and monitors the overall registration of customer commitments (trade spend, perfect invoice and accrual flow) including the return on investment analysis of spend proposals.
  • Collaborates seamlessly with Finance, to ensure accurate and complete accounting of the outstanding financial positions of the market at all times.
  • Leads commercial capability building in the North America commercial teams through trainings  and coaching.

The skills and knowledge you’ll bring:

  • Minimum BSc (or local equivalent) education.
  • Strong understanding of joint business plans, contract negotiations, pay-for-performance models and trade activities.
  • Expertise in pricing tools and advanced analytics.
  • Proven track of record of Revenue Growth Management (RGM) program development and deployment in consumer businesses.
  • Analytic and strategic thinking skills, with ability to digest complex information and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills along with expertise in managing cross-functional teams and stakeholder management skills.
