About the role:
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Branch Manager to oversee all operations of our branch. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales, managing staff, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
The impact you’ll make:
- Oversee all daily operations of the branch, ensuring efficient and effective management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve branch targets and objectives.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive growth and profitability.
- Monitor local market trends and competitor activities to adapt strategies as needed.
- Ensure the delivery of excellent customer service.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key distributors and big retailers.
- Recruit, train, and manage branch staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching and feedback to employees.
- Develop staff through ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
- Manage branch budgets and financial performance, including monitoring expenses and revenues.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, ensuring accurate and timely reporting to senior management.
- Ensure the branch complies with all regulatory and company requirements.
- Identify and manage risks, implementing mitigation strategies as necessary.
- Oversee inventory management, ensuring optimal stock levels and timely replenishment.
- Coordinate with supply chain and logistics teams to ensure efficient operations.
- Develop and implement local marketing initiatives to promote the branch and its services.
- Engage with the local community and represent the company at relevant events and activities.
The skills and knowledge you’ll bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
- 10-14 years of overall experience with 4-5 years of experience in branch management, retail management, or a related role.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office and experience with CRM and financial management software.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
