Job Title:  Admin & Payroll

About the role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Admin & Payroll professional to join our HR team, bringing precision, initiative, and a strong sense of responsibility to support our payroll operations. The role involves end-to-end payroll processing, benefits administration, hiring and termination support, compliance and audits, employee assistance, and continuous improvement across Brazil, Chile, USA, and Canada.

The impact you’ll make:

  • Manage payroll processing for Brazil, Chile, the USA, and Canada on a monthly, biweekly, or weekly basis, including salaries, bonuses, deductions, and terminations.
  • Calculate and process statutory contributions (e.g., Social Security, FGTS, income tax) and generate payment slips.
  • Ensure timely and accurate payroll closing in compliance with local legislation.
  • Administer and validate benefit-related deductions (e.g., health insurance, transportation, meal vouchers).
  • Monitor and apply company policies and collective bargaining agreements related to benefits.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including severance calculations and legal compliance.
  • Reconcile payroll and statutory accounts; resolve discrepancies and ensure audit readiness.
  • Provide guidance to employees and managers on payslips, deductions, and statutory obligations.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, and HR teams on payroll-related topics.
  • Stay current with labor and social security legislation updates.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency.

The skills and knowledge you’ll bring:

  • University degree (master’s degree) in Finance, Business Administration, Economics and/or another related field.
  • Proven previous experience in human resources processes (especially related to payroll).
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and statutory requirements in Brazil, Chile, the USA, and Canada.
  • High attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
  • Proficiency in payroll systems.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
